What happens if the IRS or State “rejects” the e-filing of my tax return?
We communicate any rejects and explanation of rejects posted by the IRS or the State Tax Boards via email and may call via you phone. Adjustments will need to be made for the return to be accepted.
If reject was due to information that was NOT PROVIDED to us originally for the correction requested, prepay a flat correspondence fee of 175 for the adjustment. Payment Options
If the reject is due to error by our team, rest assured we got you covered 100% including all penalties and interests incurred.
If it was an accepted return and the IRS or state agency is requesting an amended return, refer to standard rates.

REJECT/ADJUSTMENTS INSTRUCTIONS

Rejects: We will email you the cause of the reject as explained in the IRS and/or State Tax Board posting and what we need to remedy it. Upload all documents required and requested for the specified reject.
Adjustments: Upload all documents and statements of explanations you want us to consider.
We may call you to confirm or clarify the requested adjustments.
Instructions to e-sign your return are emailed to you.
Tax return is filed within 48 hours of receiving signed documents.
If accepted by the IRS or state tax agencies, an acceptance email will be sent to you.
Simple as that! You’re tax return rejection is fixed!
***If the tax return is rejected again, we will reach out to you.
**If it is for the same reason that is out of our control, there may be additional fees to follow up and correspond.
*If the reject is caused by something else that was not provided for us to file an additional flat correspondence fee of $175 applies to each subsequent correspondence. If so, follow instructions from the top of this page.
